Wow.. we are almost at Christmas! The kids are starting to get excited already! We have been doing a great job of collecting money for the penny drive! Thanks to all who have donated their coins!
We will be starting our Christmas centers tomorrow (Wednesday). These have a variety of activities, from reading, poetry, math and even a sweetm treat!
Friday we will be saying goodbye to Mr. MacDermid until March break! We have been very lucky to have him in our class and he has introduced us to lots of new activities and great lessons! We look forward his return in the spring for 6 weeks!
Homework this week:
Every night you should be reading something for at least 15 minutes! Maybe you can ask for a book for Christmas!
Math-- we are still working on our math worksheets- lessons start at 40 and you do 2 every night.
Spelling-- Keep writing those great sentences! Every night you should be writing new sentences! Who will have the best sentence this week?
On Friday afternoon we all Elm Street students will be returning to Elm Street at 1:15pm to have a Christmas assembly. It will be great to be all together, if only for a little while.
Hope everyone has a great week!
